Top 10 MLM Secrets of all time. Part 1

People ask me a lot about what the top 5 and top 10 biggest MLM secrets are. So without further ado here is my nomination for the Top 10 MLM secrets of all time.

Top MLM Secret # 10: Absolute commitment to success from day 1.
If you have followed my work you probably already know that this is one of my biggest secrets.

The moment I became committed everything changed immediately. The right kind of people seemed to appear out of nowhere and they wanted to follow me. They took me lead and followed my suggestions.
It was like night and day. After 13 years of struggle in MLM, within the same week of making a commitment to success almost everything went really well. I just a year I built a team of 4,500 people.

Almost everyone that join a network marketing company say they are committed to achieve their goals and dreams. Unfortunately almost none of them are.
I don’t think it’s because they don’t know what a commitment is. I think they are simply lying to themselves. To be absolutely sure that there are no misunderstandings this is my definition of what commitment means:

To do whatever it takes, until…..

From studying MLM leaders now for over 21 years I’ve observed that they all do the following 5 things. I call them:

The 5 Crucial MLM Activities.

1) Use your products/services every day
2) Talk to people. Several times a week if not every day
3) Make presentations. At least once a week.
4) Attend promote, organize and conduct trainings and events. (At least once a month.
5) Lead other people to do these 5 actions.

These are the things all MLM leaders must be committed to do to succeed. I’m positive that if you think about the really successful people in your MLM company you will agree that they are doing these things on a regular basis. All 5 activities are necessary including ALWAYS being at the big events.

Keeping this in mind the following are actual excuses I’ve had from people that claimed
they were committed.

I couldn’t come to the big regional event because:

- Something came up.
-There was a premier on my favourite movie.
- We needed to paint the kids room.
- I was really tired.

- I forgot it.
- I didn’t feel like it
- My partner wanted me to stay home.
- I Couldn’t afford it.
- We were going to a family party.
- My car needed to be repaired.
- I had a fight with my girlfriend and I didn’t feel like going.
- I go in my own speed.
- It was too far.
- I don’t really like people.
- The weather was too good.
- The weather was too bad.
- I fell off a train. (Honestly this is true)
- Some friends came by.

Image what would happen if you came up with any of these excuses for not going to work?? You would probably get fired. But I hear these excuses all the time from people claiming they are committed to succeed in MLM.

The truth is they are not even half as committed to their network marketing business as they are to their job, and at the same time they expect to make 3 times or more what they make in their current career.

85 % of network marketers have never even done all The 5 Crucial MLM Activities. Of the remaining 15% most of them don’t do them on a regular basis.
The majority in MLM don’t practice prospecting scripts, they are not willing to buy training material or go to a seminar or hire a coach to improve themselves.

Their actions show exactly what they are committed to: STAYING THE SAME.

Without a commitment to do the The 5 Crucial MLM Activities and to invest In self improvement it’s delusional to think you are ever going to make a decent income let alone a 6 or 7 figure income.

I invite you to take a serious look at your own behaviours and spot the ones that reflect a lack of commitment. And be honest. Don’t try to fool yourself. You are the only one that looses if you are not completely honest. The first step to self improvement is recognizing and acknowledging what needs to be improved.

The moment you become truly committed you will INSTANTLY see a massive increase in your business. I could talk about commitment forever, because it it such a powerful force.
